The Squiggles necklace came about when I wanted to do something with the 10mm metal ball chain I had in stock. A great beading friend, Linda Currier, who also lives in Faribault, MN, said she'd give it a shot. Squiggles was born. It consists of 15/o seed beads in 9 colors, which are stitched around the spaces between the Ball Chain. The ball chain is heavy, so we decided to use a 12 1/2-inch-plus section and add leather. The project uses 3mm leather, and the connection is made by looping the leather through the 15mm split rings. The Whip Stitch Technique is used to hold the connection in place. See a quick video I made on Whip Stitch. It is a great technique. This necklace will be about 25" to go over the head to wear. No clasps or closures are used.

I think it has an October and Halloween look because of the choice of beads Linda chose.
